Habitat For Humanity Chicken Scramble
Friday 11:00 a.m.

Come join us for the First Annual Chicken Scramble! There will be the usual golf scramble fun, but at the end of the day, you’ll be invited to join us at the fairgrounds for a delicious Tyson chicken dinner.

Heart Walk
Saturday 2:00 p.m.

Come join over 100 companies and organizations for this fun-filled, non-competitive walk. Funds from the Harrison County Heart Walk enable us to continue our fight against heart disease and stroke in the community through research, public and professional education, and advocacy.

Chicken Pot Pie Contest
Saturday 3:00 p.m.

Open to Churches, Businesses and individuals. Dig for that special recipe and make our chickens proud! The grand prize winner will receive a trophy made by Zimmerman Art, and the top three winners will receive cash as well.

YMCA Dinner
Friday 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 3:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The YMCA will offer PORK CHOP dinners in addition to the chicken dinners served in prior years. Come support your YMCA and enjoy a delicious dinner. The Y will also offer breakfast during the Tyson Chicken Sale from 7:00 to 9:00am Saturday.

Carriage Rides
Friday 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday 12:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Take a ride from the festival into Historic Downtown Corydon.

Cockadoodle Egg Derby Water Race
Friday 6:00 p.m.

Purchase your winning Egg(s), follow it’s course starting at the Fairgrounds Spring, and cheer it on to VICTORY! $ 1,000 PRIZE for the winning egg. Tickets are $5 each or 6 for $25. Tickets can be purchased at the Harrison Center, Visitors Center, Blank & Ingram CPA’s, Chase Bank, Community First Bank, First Harrison Bank, Regions Bank, and the YMCA.

Old Capitol Power Pull
Friday and Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League is proud to present the Midwest Region Finals at this years festival. This pull will have two track action featuring Pro Stock Tractors, Super Farm Tractors, Pro Modified 4 Wheel Drive Trucks, and 4x4 Pro Stock Trucks. In addition to grandstand seating, pit passes may be purchased. The pit area will offer a beer garden and food.

Corn Hole Tournament (21 and over)
We’re in search of the Cockadoodle Days Corn Hole Champion! Competition starts at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 27th, and will be held in the Beer Garden. Registration is $ 30/team. Winner takes 50% of registrations, with 20% and 10% going to 2nd and 3rd place teams. Double elimination. Contact Keith Lewis at 812.738.4998.

Old Hen and Cocky Old Rooster Contest
Saturday 8:30 p.m.

This contest is for the 40 and older crowd. Participants must have an attitude! Winners will proudly reign as the Old Hen and Cocky Old Rooster. Old Hen winner and 7 of her favorite chicks will receive dinner and all the fixin’s sponsored by Turtle Run Winery. Manly gift certificates from local merchants for the Cocky Old Rooster. Off-Site Parking
Due to the continued growth of the festival and the Old Capitol Power Pull, parking for this year’s event will be at off-site locations. Free shuttle service will be provided to and from Harrison County YMCA parking lot, Keller Soccer Fields, Harrison County Community Foundation, and Friend of Harrison Count Youth Baseball Field parking lot to the fairgrounds. Watch for a list of shuttle times.
